About

Kirsten Campbell [Keeky Creative] is a visual artist, art psychotherapist, and creative researcher based on Dharawal Land in Wollongong. She holds a Master of Art Therapy (MA ATh) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) with a major in Visual Arts and Creative Writing. Kirsten combines arts-based research with creative processes to explore the interconnectedness of the personal and the political. Much of her work is collage-based and reflects the juxtaposition of existing in an AFAB body within a patriarchal society. Through her art, she seeks to create a safe space that encompasses a collective experience, exposing subjugation and challenging viewers' perspectives.
